Speedy winger Jordan Green signed on a six-month loan deal to become Mark Molesley’s first signing.
The two know each other well from their time at Bournemouth where the 25-year-old spent a couple of years between 2015-2017.
Green, who has a direct style of play and likes to take on defenders, started out at Fulham but was released at 16-years-old, prompting him to drop into non-league at Banbury United whilst working part-time in a supermarket.
His break at the Cherries provided the chance to go out on loan and gain Football League experience at Newport County in 2016.
A permanent move to Yeovil Town materialised the following year and Green featured 47 times in his first season at Huish Park, scoring four goals.
The impressive performances continued into his second year at Yeovil, sparking interest from Barnsley who snapped up the speedy wide player in January 2019 on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Green’s first goal for the Tykes came at Roots Hall in a 3-0 win over Blues but following Barnsley’s promotion to the Championship, game time was limited and he joined Newport again in January prior to the season’s curtailment.
