Sam Hart became the first signing of the 2019 January transfer window, joining the club from Blackburn Rovers.
The 22-year-old left-back, who signed a two-year deal at Rovers from Liverpool in August 2017 having been at the Merseyside club since the age of 16, will spend the remainder of the 2018/19 season at Roots Hall.
Hart has spent time out on loan in League One this season with Rochdale where he impressed in 13 appearances for the club.
He made his debut for the club against Bradford on Saturday 19th January 2019.
