Sisanda Maguranyanga is a second-year forward.

Danny Heath: "Sisanda is a hard-working player that strives to become even better by showing a very coachable attitude and by always doing extras before and after training. Sisanda settled into the group well and this has been pleasing to see. Sisanda shows good movement to receive the ball in goal scoring positions and he is very clinical to take his goal scoring chances. Out of possession Sisanda is relentless with his pressing and he shows controlled aggression to regain the ball back high up the pitch and to also deny the opposition time."

Sisanda: "The teams I’ve played with before joining Southend in July 2024 were as follows: St Mirren from U7 to U8, Glasgow Rangers from U9 to U12 and Hamilton Academical Academy from U15 to U18. So far, as my first club in England, it's been quite an experience and very different from Scottish football, but I do enjoy it a lot. I’ve had to adapt a little, but it is great to play for Southend and I’m happy to play with great players and great coaches."
