Bio
Debut:
Oscar Miller is a first-year left wing-back.
Danny Heath: "Oscar is a player that demonstrates good quality with his left foot, and he can produce an end product with good quality to create goal scoring opportunities in the final third. Out of possession Oscar works ever so hard to get himself into good defensive positions to ensure that the team is compact but so that the team can regain possession of the ball as early as possible."
Oscar: "I started my footballing career at Hullbridge at age six where I then started to play for the Southend United shadow squad. At nine I had a trial for the academy and after a successful trial period I got in. From there I played for Southend's academy and had great opportunities and achievements such as playing for the under-18s when I was an under-15. For my under-16 season I went and played for Chelmsford City. After that, I came back to Southend and joined the youth team. It’s been a great experience so far, getting on well with new teammates and playing well in the games. I just want to keep pushing and one day play for the first team as I've been a Southend supporter all my life."
