Osayanyobor Sorae is a first-year wing-back.

Danny Heath: "Osayanyobor is a hard working and athletic wide player who shows the physical attributes to get up and down the pitch both in attacking and defending situations. In possession Osayanyobor is very positive with the ball to attack and play forwards with good dribbling then also show the ability to produce an end product with a pass, cross and shots on goal. Out of possession Osayanyobor demonstrates the ability to get pressure to the ball with speed and controlled aggression and he also shows good tactical positioning to be in a covering position when defending away from the ball. 

Yobor: "I started my career at my local club called Euro Dagenham and it was a great experience. We went a whole season unbeaten, I really enjoyed football at that age, getting together with the boys and playing every Sunday. Later I went to Bowers & Pitsea and it was like a family - everyone worked hard to reach their goals. I stayed there for one season but there were some ups and downs, so I knew I had to work even harder. After one season at Bowers & Pitsea I then came to Southend United in July 2024 and from my first session I knew it is a very good place to be. The coaches and the players are very welcoming. Everyone here is very hard working, and they will push you to your limits."
