Ibrahim Lima is a second-year midfielder.

Danny Heath: "Ibrahim came on trial in August after previously being at Barnet. Ibrahim predominantly plays as a deeper midfield player, and he can effectively get on the ball and shows a good range of passing to play into forward areas of the pitch. Although Ibrahim has only been here for a short period of time he has settled well within the group."

Ibrahim: "I've recently joined Southend in August. Although I’ve not been here for a long time but from the time I’ve been here I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and I'm looking forward to what the future holds. Hopefully I can push into the first team, and I like how the coaches and players are encouraging, and everyone has that same positive mentality."
