A product of Oxford United's academy, Slavi Spasov has impressed in the lower tiers of non-league to earn his move to Southend.

Having moved to the UK from Bulgaria as a joined, Spasov came through the ranks to convert a penalty on his senior U's debut in the EFL Trophy, making him the youngest goalscorer in the club's history.

A total of 18 goals last season for Slough Town saw him swap Berkshire for Essex at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
