The 25-year-old forward is a Shrimper for the 2026/27 campaign after joining on a season-long loan from Bristol Rovers.

Predominantly a central striker, Omochere’s physical and technical attributes give him the versatility to feature on either wing.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, he began his professional career with Bohemians. His senior debut came in the League of Ireland Cup, before grabbing an assist on his league match for Bohs.

During his time at Phibsborough, Omochere made 55 appearances, scoring 11 goals and picking up eight assists before crossing the Irish Sea in July 2022 to join Fleetwood Town in EFL League One.

He picked up an assist on his debut for the Cods in a 2-1 defeat to Port Vale, before scoring his first goal for the Lancashire outfit against Shrewsbury Town.

Omochere remained a prominent feature in Fleetwood’s attack across the next two seasons, netting 13 times in 71 appearances before heading south to join fellow third-tier side Bristol Rovers.

After starting each the Gas’ first four matches, the Irishman introduced himself to his new supporters in style with a brace against Cambridge United which secured a 2-0 win at Memorial Stadium.

The forward made quite the impact in his first game at Roots Hall, scoring the winner in a 3-2 comeback win against Yeovil Town in early September.
