Blues completed the permanent transfer of midfielder Noor Husin from Dartford for an undisclosed fee in January 2022.

He started 16 league games in the second half of the 2021/22 season, scoring twice. As of January 2024, Husin has made 75 league appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring six goals.

The former Reading, Crystal Palace, Notts County and Stevenage centre midfielder arrived at Roots Hall on a two-and-a-half-year deal after Blues agreed an undisclosed fee with the National League South club.

Husin, is an Afghanistan international, appearing 20 times for his country since his debut in 2019.
