In 2022, Harry Taylor joined the Blues from Barnet, where he made over 185 appearances over an eight-year span.

Capable of playing in defence or midfield, Harry began his career in Chelsea’s youth team before joining Barnet’s academy in 2012 along with his younger brother Jack, now at Ipswich.

He’s become a regular feature for the Shrimpers on the righthand side of the centre-back combination, once going on a run of more than 60 consecutive matches in which he played every single minute between October 2024 and November 2025.

Taylor was also voted Players' Player of the Season in 2023/24.
