Gus Scott-Morriss joined the Blues in the summer of 2022, on a two-year deal with an option in the club's favour to extend.

The right back joined Hemel Hempstead Town from Royston Town in 2021 and went on to make over 40 appearances for the Tudors in 2021/22.

Scott-Morriss became the fourth addition to Kevin Maher’s squad in the 2022 summer transfer window after the defender agreed a two-year deal. He played 35 league games in his first season at Roots Hall and scored five goals.
