Gus Scott-Morriss joined the Blues in the summer of 2022, on a two-year deal with an option in the club's favour to extend.

The right-back joined Hemel Hempstead Town from Royston Town in 2021 and went on to make over 40 appearances for the Tudors in 2021/22.

Scott-Morriss became the fourth addition to Kevin Maher’s squad in the 2022 summer transfer window after the defender agreed a two-year deal. He played 35 league games in his first season at Roots Hall and scored five goals.

Last season, Scott-Morriss found the net a remarkable 17 times, earning both our Players' and Supporters' Player of the Season awards.
