Collin Andeng Ndi first signed professional terms with Blues in September 2021 after an initial trial period.

He was spotted at South Essex College by club legend Steve Tilson, with his first day on trial at Southend coming in October 2020.

The Italian-born shot-stopper’s debut for the club came in the FA Trophy against Dorking Wanderers, with his first league appearance coming against Stockport County in April 2022.

In 2022/23, Andeng Ndi played 23 league games and kept 13 clean sheets, which saw him win our Young Player of the Season award.
