All the information you need ahead of our friendly against Kings Langley.
Southend United’s pre-season schedule kicks off away at The Orbital Fasteners Stadium against the Step 3 side on Saturday, 3.00pm kick-off.
If you’re planning to attend, here is some information to help you with your visit.
The hosts have put together a handy guide with some useful information about the game.
Getting To The Ground
If arriving by train, the Orbital Fasteners Stadium is within walking distance of a couple of stations. Apsley is the closest – just a 15-20 minute walk away.
Also within walking distance is Kings Langley station (on the same line), which is approximately a 25-30 minute walk away, with the route taking you through the village.
If travelling by car, please note there will be no parking available at the stadium, unless you are using the disabled section. Parking is readily available in the town centre and by the surrounding areas around the ground.
We recommend using Langley Hill Car Park (WD4 9HD) or The Nap Car Park (WD4 8ET). These are in the town centre, 24 hours and a 10-15 minute walk from the ground. Parking is also free.
Tickets for the fixture are available online (by clicking here). They are also available to buy on the gate. The bar will be open from 12:00, and the turnstiles from 1:30.
Kings Langley strongly advise you to buy in advance if possible.
Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £2 for U18s.
Kings Langley love to see dogs at The Orbital Fasteners Stadium, and encourage you to bring your pet to the football. All they ask is that they’re well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.
Food & Drink
The burger van will be open serving a range of food and drinks, this will take both cash and card. Drinks and snacks are also available in the clubhouse.
