From the Eastleigh game onwards the matchday programme ‘Roots Review’ will be available to buy outside the stadium from the programme hut and the West Stand ticket office.
The availability of programmes on a matchday from the bars and kiosks has, in the three home games played so far, proven to be difficult for supporters.
Following this feedback, and with thanks to the support from the Shrimpers Trust and in particular Dave Bishop, the programme will now have greater visibility on a matchday and will be a lot easier to purchase.
The programme hut is based at the bottom of the main car park off Victoria Avenue, which along with a dedicated programme only window at the west stand ticket office, will be the two main points for supporters to buy a programme.
Reduced numbers of the programme will be allocated to the bars and kiosks as a consequence of having the two main hubs, however some of the busier kiosks and bars in the stadium will still stock a limited number of programmes also.
Supporters coming into the East Stand at Roots Hall are advised to use the programme hut to buy a programme and those using the West Stand turnstiles the West Stand ticket office, which we hope will make buying a programme quicker and easier for fans.
Copies of the Stockport County, Wrexham and Aldershot Town programme will also be on sale from the programme hut for supporters who didn’t manage to get one.
