Forward Hamzad Kargbo has extended his loan at Southend United from QPR for a further month.
The 19-year-old striker, who joined the club before the start of the 2021/22 season, has made three appearances off the bench for Blues.
Kargbo will continue his development and remain at Roots Hall for a busy seven game month in October and look to help Phil Brown’s side pick up some vital points to move up the National League standings.
The Blues boss said: "I’m absolutely delighted with his attitude. He’s worked hard to try and improve his game, he’s getting first-team coaching experience on a daily basis, he’s getting first-team exposure, albeit in a lower division than QPR, but that will stand him in good stead for when he goes back to QPR.
"Hopefully he will understand that and QPR will see a difference when he does return but he’s definitely still that project in the making. He’s a project that we want to spend as much time on the training ground as we can and try to get him as much exposure in terms of his minutes."
