Southend United U18s have been drawn at home to Cambridge United in The FA Youth Cup First Round Proper.
Blues emerged through the qualifying competition by defeating Barking (2-0) and Aveley (on penalties) at Roots Hall, and their prize is another home clash, this time against EFL Youth Alliance South East Conference counterparts Cambridge.
The game will take place on Thursday November 4 - 7.30pm kick-off.
Tickets are priced at £5 adults and £1 concessions, with the MidexPRO East Stand green seats open for supporters attending.
The teams have already met twice at Boots & Laces already this season, with the U’s running out 5-1 winners in the league in August before Danny Heath’s side exacted revenge by knocking Cambridge out of the EFL Youth Alliance Cup with a 2-0 victory last month.
There have been three previous meetings between the clubs in The FA Youth Cup, most recently in 2019 when Cambridge edged out the teenage Shrimpers 2-1 at Roots Hall at the First Round Proper stage.
