We can today confirm the number of iFollow match video passes sold throughout the 2020/21 season.
During an unprecedented campaign in which Blues fans were unable to attend games at stadiums, aside from two matches at Roots Hall in December which as we know ended in two victories, the iFollow service was an integral platform to enable fans to follow games, both home and away.
In total, a phenomenal 36,308 match video passes were snapped up by fans despite a difficult season on the pitch which ultimately ended with relegation. Thank you for your unwavering support!
Excluding the 1,641 Season Card holders, who were granted access to all home league games, 15,141 match passes were bought by supporters for home league fixtures during the season.
For games on the road figures were very impressive again. At an average of 920 passes per game, there were 21,167 passes sold for our away league matches.
As per the EFL regulations for League Two clubs in 2020/21, the first 500 away match passes sold were retained by the home club, and any thereafter that figure went to the financial benefit of the away club, i.e. Blues took profit from the sale of the 501st match pass and onwards for away games.
Where this was concerned for Blues home games, the club retained 9,352 match video passes sold by teams visiting Roots Hall throughout the season.
We would like to thank all Blues fans for their magnificent support and look forward to hopefully welcoming you back next season.
