Southend United make three changes to the side which drew 0-0 with Oldham Athletic on Saturday for this evening’s Sky Bet League Two game against Tranmere Rovers.

Elvis Bwomono, Jason Demetriou and Ricky Holmes come in for Shaun Hobson, Kyle Taylor and Simeon Akinola.

It’s 22-year-old Bwomono’s 100th league start for the club while Ricky Holmes makes his first start in a game at Roots Hall.

Alan McCormack is fit enough to return to the bench after missing out on Saturday, while Sam Hart returns from injury and also takes up a place on the bench.

Akinola, meanwhile, misses out through injury.
