Southend United are delighted to unveil their brand-new Macron home strip for the 2021/22 campaign!
The kit will be worn for the first time in tonight’s pre-season friendly against a West Ham United XI and will be available to pre-order online from Monday 2 August.
The 2021/22 primary shirt will see long-standing partners Trade Price Cars splashed across the front for the first time following the landmark commercial deal which was agreed between Blues and the independently owned, nationally recognised and multi-award winning used car dealership based in the heart of Essex.
On the back proudly sits the Club’s new back of shirt sponsor Rickard Luckin, the Essex based chartered accountants and tax advisers, who we are delighted to grow our partnership further with.
The tops feature an overall embossed design together with the embroidered and Macron hero to guarantee match day comfort making the shirt extremely lightweight, malleable, and durable.
Using high-tech M-Performance System fabric for increased comfort, breathability, and moisture absorption, the kit has a 'sustainable' soul, thanks to the technological and ecological fabric used by the Italian brand to make it. Made with recycled plastic, Macron’s Eco-Softlock is certified by the Global Recycled Standard, the most important international standard for the sustainable production of clothing and textiles.
Macron’s softlock mesh inserts and the high-tech M-Performance System fabric for increased comfort, breathability, and moisture absorption.
