Team News: Grimsby Town

14 January 2021

Latest team news to face Grimsby Town this weekend.

Mark Molesley provided an update on those who have had injury and fitness problems recently.

Kyle Taylor…

“He trained for the first time today which is great news. We need to be very careful because he did have symptoms when he had Covid. His return to play will be monitored quite closely.”

Tom Clifford, Brandon Goodship and Michael Klass…

“It’s too soon for Brandon. Tom Clifford has joined in training with the group today for the first time so it was great to see him back out there. So has Michael Klass.

“The group is looking a lot stronger and healthier, there’s certainly more numbers around us which is great. We’re not used to having so many bodies but I can certainly get used to it, that is for sure!”

Terrell Egbri…

“Terrell hasn’t trained today due to his hamstring. We’ll probably let that settle a little bit further before pushing him back into training.”

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild…

“We took a lot of precaution with Reeco at the first half of the week and he’s trained again today in preparation for Saturday so touch wood with him.

“He’s here to start building on that match fitness. It might take him a couple of games to get up to speed to that 90-minute mark. We were happy with the hour we got out of him last Saturday and we’ll continue to build from there.”
