Latest team news to face Barrow…

Alan McCormack will be available to return this weekend but Brandon Goodship will be missing due to injury.

Here’s the latest from Mark Molesley ahead of Saturday’s visit of Barrow.

On the weekend without a game…

“Disappointing as it is to have a game called off so close because the adrenaline is pumping and you’re ready for the game, the positive spin on it is we had another week’s rest and preparation.

“We’ve rested down a few because I felt like Leyton Orient we didn’t get to our normal standards physically, that was probably the disappointing thing but probably understandable for some of the players where they’re at.

"We had a little bit of Covid last week so it gives them a chance to re-enter our bubble tomorrow and whether they will be fit enough for Saturday, we’ll have to take a late check on them tomorrow.

Alan McCormack…

“Macca’s definitely got the benefit of having a bit more rest and another week’s training in his legs.

“It’ll be great to have him back in the squad. You see the influence he's had out there in games that he has played so he’s a welcome return and big option for us on Saturday.”

Brandon Goodship and Tom Clifford…

“Brandon is 10 days/two weeks away and Tom is nearing a return. Whether Saturday will be a little bit too early for him it’s too early to tell. If it’s not this Saturday then he’s not far away which is good news for us.”

Kyle Taylor and Michael Klass…

“We’ll take a late call on them. With Covid it’s a little bit unknown so we’ve got to make sure we have a full health check tomorrow.

“They’re due to be in training tomorrow which will be good. If it’s not this weekend then hopefully with a full week of training hopefully it will put them in a better place next week rather than this week.”
