As Blues continue to play their games behind closed doors due to government guidelines, the noise of the Roots Hall faithful is certainly missed.

Even though you can’t be there in person, we know how much you are showing your support online and we would like to offer Blues fans the opportunity to show their support in the stadium by the way of flags being draped across seats in the Fairfield BMW East Stand, and behind both goals of the Trade Price Cars South Stand and the Outstanding North Bank.

We believe the joint initiative between the club and the Shrimpers Trust is a great way for you to show your support to Mark Molesley and his team even though you can’t be at Roots Hall in person to do so.

If you would like your flag/banner to be on display at Roots Hall, please email  with your name and contact number to organise delivery of the flag ahead of Southend United’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Cheltenham Town at Roots Hall on Saturday 17th October.

If you have string/rope/bungee cords or anything similar to assist the club in putting the flags up that would be much appreciated.

Please note, that whilst under government guidelines of games to be behind closed doors, fans are not able to congregate in the vicinity of Roots Hall Stadium.
