Elvis Bwomono will join up with Uganda for their two upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Sudan following this weekend's Emirates FA Cup First Round game.
The right back was expected to earn another international call-up, having gone away to a training camp with the squad last month in preparation for the double header.
And he has now officially received his call-up, meaning he could make his debut for his country on 12th November, with the second game taking place on the 16th November.
"Elvis has been called up which is a great honour for him but we’ll lose him for two games [against Colchester United and Walsall]," said Blues boss Mark Molesley.
"That’s bitterly disappointing for us because we can ill-afford to lose players.
"A great honour for him because he goes and represents himself, his family and the football club with his country.
"But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated."
