We're delighted to reveal our brand new hummel away shirt.
The sky blue shirt takes inspiration from the 1995/96 Beaver produced home kit, mirroring the diamond shaped pattern.
It is accompanied by black shorts and socks with the sky blue trim on the famous Hummel chevrons situated on the side of the shorts and the ‘SUFC’ stitching on the socks.
And you will have noticed that to proudly model the first Southend United hummel away shirt it was only right we asked one of the club's fan favourites, a squad member in the 95/96 season and former Academy graduate, Leo Roget, who made 139 appearances in total for Blues. The 95/96 campaign in particular was Roget’s breakthrough season into the first team.
As with the home kit, the adult jerseys will have our new main partner, competition company Watchlotto, on the front of the shirt in white font and black outline to match the kit. The Teddy Hewitt Foundation is proudly donned on the kids kits.
Both the home and away kits will be available to pre-order from midday on Monday 10th August on the new club shop website.
And we can now reveal that Blues will have a third kit for the 2020/21 season which will be released in the coming weeks and also available to purchase at a later date.
