Gary Waddock had some positive news on Tom Hopper's return to first-team action.
Waddock confirmed the striker, who has been sidelined for almost a year with a ruptured ACL, is closing in on a return to full training.
The Blues caretaker manager said: "He’s doing very well; he’s trained extremely hard with Ben and Steph.
"He’s joined in with the group on non-contact and he’s done extra work after training.
"It's nice to have him on the training ground. He will be back into full training within the next week or two, which is the next stage of his recovery process.
"I’ve been really pleased with his progress.”
Asked whether a potential game has been earmarked for a return, Waddock didn't give much away, adding: "We will organise a game for him when he's ready.”
