Saturday sees one of the biggest attendances in recent memory when Sunderland AFC visit Roots Hall for our final, and crucial, game of the 2018/19 season.
Already 10,500 supporters have snapped up tickets and with such a big attendance we are asking for your help.
You may remember at the start of the year when Gillingham were the visitors to Roots Hall, we asked supporters to sign a letter which outlines our ambitions and reasons for our new stadium development at Fossetts Farm for Southend Borough Council.
If you weren’t at the Gillingham game or were but didn’t get a chance to sign a letter then now is your chance.
All we need you to do is collect a letter from the stewards before entering the stadium, sign, name and address the letter backing our plans, and then hand it back to the stewards.
Alternatively, you can hand them in at bar and catering units or to staff who will come around to collect them 15 minutes into the game.
(Please note, by signing this letter you agree for your data to be shared with Southend United Football Club, Southend Borough Council and the possibility of a fellow fan seeing your address when passing the letter onto staff).
