Essential information for Sunday's Charity game

Roots Hall Stadium will host the first ‘Sellebrity Soccer’ match in Essex on Sunday (10th March) 3pm kick-off!

A host of celebrities will join several Blues legends at Roots Hall Stadium on Sunday 10th March (3pm kick-off) with all proceeds being donated between Southend United Community & Educational Trust and Magic Moments Children’s Charity.

The two captains for the game will be Eastenders star Danny Dyer and former X Factor winner Shayne Ward.

The match is organised by Sellebrity Soccer and it will be the first time it has been hosted in Essex!

Match tickets

If you’re seated in the Fairfield BMW East Stand for the fixture the below areas will be open for full use:

  • Tunnel and East Blue catering unit serving burgers, hotdogs, pies, sausage rolls, soups, hot drinks, crisps, chocolate and soft drinks.
  • The Far Post Bar serving draught lager, ale, bottled alcopops, bottled beer, soft drinks and crisps.
  • The Groundsman’s Bar serving draught lager, bottle alcopops, bottled beer, soft drinks and crisps.

If you’re seated in the Paul Robinson West Stand for the fixture the below areas will be open for full use:

  • Main West catering unit serving burgers, hotdogs, pies, sausage rolls, soups, hot drinks, crisps, chocolate and soft drinks.
  • The West Stand Bar serving draught lager, ale, bottled alcopops, bottled beer, soft drinks and crisps.

Hospitality

If you’re a hospitality guest at Roots Hall for the fixture, please see below the relevant information:

If you’re an Executive Box or Trade Price Cars Centre Circle Lounge guest, please head to the main reception at the bottom of the main car park to collect your tickets.

If you’re in the Blues Legends Lounge, please head to the Blues Legends Lounge entrance located to the right of reception at the bottom of the main car park.

Basic timings of the day

  • 1pm - Hospitality areas open
  • 1.30pm – Gates open
  • 2.15pm – Players warm-up
  • 3pm – Kick-Off
  • 3.45pm – Half-time
  • 4pm – Second half
  • 4.45pm – Full-time

Ticket Office 

Main Office opens: Midday until kick off
Collections and West Stand: 12.30 until kick off

The Ticket Office and Club Shop will close at kick off and will not open for aftersales

Telephone lines for the Ticket office will be open frommidday until 2pm (08444 770077).

If you haven't already bought tickets for the game there is still plenty of time to secure your seats!

Seniors (65+): £5
Under16s: £5
