AFC Wimbledon programme preview

15 March 2019

Saturday’s matchday programme pays tribute to Sid Broomfield, who sadly passed away at the age of 94 two weeks ago.

The AFC Wimbledon game will be our first home match since Sid’s passing. Inside is an obituary of the man who built Roots Hall, written by our good friends at SUFC History, while the front cover has been redesigned to resemble the style of our first match at the stadium against Norwich City in 1955.

Also included is an interview with Sam Barratt on his rehab and his hopes for making a comeback from his knee injury, Sam Hart answers the ‘Who Is?’ questions, there’s Academy updates from Kevin Maher’s U23 side and Dave Huzzey’s U18 side and BBC Essex pen their column which focusses on events at Blackpool last weekend.

Southend United Ex-Players Association are featured with the returning Peter Daley featured on page 25.

The programme is available at the usual price of £3 and can also be purchased from the ticket office right now!

Make sure you don’t miss out!
