In our latest edition of 'Getting To Know' we put U18s goalkeeper Harry Seaden under the Q&A spotlight...

Name: Harry Seaden
Position: Goalkeeper

The FitzWimarc School.

Rayleigh Boys.

I’ve come through the development and shadow squads. It was through injuries to ‘keepers in the Centre of Excellence that I got promoted to play a game and I got signed from that.

I was 13 when I joined the Centre of Excellence and before that I was in the development squads since 10.

Lee Harrison and the goalkeeping department itself; Bishop, Oxley, Smith.

Socially I’m quite good; talking to people and I’m quite easy going so going into sessions with the first team I can handle myself.

My physical side, so by getting fitter and stronger.

Play more with your head than your heart.

White Adidas X’s.

I’d say a Joe Root or someone like that. Someone who’s a captain and a leader.

Nathan Bishop, Matt Rush, Sam Knock and Jon Benton.

Manuel Neuer.

Both of the Schmeichel’s, Peter and Kasper.

One of my England U17 games against Portugal, playing in front of 7,000.

I don’t think many people know that my dad used to play for Southend, I think he played 24 games. His name is John.
