A brief overview of the Southend United players currently out on loan getting game time at their respective clubs.
Michael Klass - Bromley
Michael Klass was brought on as a 92nd minute for Bromley in their 1-1 draw at home to Yeovil. Klass was brought on to help sore up the game with the Ravens leading 1-0 when Klass entered the fray but unfortunately Yeovil equalised in the 97th minute with supposedly five minutes being added on. Bromley remain second in the National League.
Tom Clifford - Concord Rangers
Clifford returned to the Concord Rangers starting XI and played a full 90 minutes, but was unable to help the Beachboys as they lost their fourth consecutive away league match at the hands of National League South table toppers Wealdstone. Concord drop down to 15th and now are only five points above the relegation places.
O’Shane Stewart - Margate
The 18 year old midfielder came on as an 80th minute sub for the Gate in their 3-0 away win to top of the league Horsham. The score was already 3-0 when Stewart entered the fray. This was O’Shane Stewart’s 10 appearance of the season for Margate and this win lifted them to 10th and are now seven points from the play offs in the Isthmian Premier.
Freddy Eastwood - Canvey Island
Freddy Eastwood started his second Isthmian North came for Canvey Island but was substituted in the 55th minute. The Islanders lost 3-0 at home to Histon and this was the score when Eastwood was substituted. Canvey have now slipped down to 13th in the table but are still 11 points above bottom placed Romford.
Miles Mitchell-Nelson & Terell Egbri - Harlow Town
Both youngsters started and played the full 90 minutes as Harlow Town’s promotion push took a dent as they lost to now 16th placed Northwood 2-1 at home. Harlow were off the pace in the first half and that sealed the three points for Northwood. Egbri had a large part in the second half but Harlow couldn’t get the desired goal. Harlow now sit fourth and trail top of the league Hanwell Town by six points.
