Southend United were soundly beaten by Lincoln City at Sincil Bank as The Imps inflicted a 4-0 defeat on Blues this afternoon.
Jason Shackell headed the home side in front just after the half-hour mark after getting on the end of a Tyler Walker free-kick to nod the ball over a stranded Nathan Bishop.
The Imps would then double their advantage before half-time after a lucky break in the Southend box allowed Harry Toffolo to get a first-time shot away and find the bottom corner.
And Lincoln would round off an afternoon to forget for Blues as substitute Bruno Andrade fizzed a low shot through the legs of Bishop late on to secure a fourth straight win for the home side.
Southend's wait for their first league win of the season continues however, with Blues yet to pick up a point from their opening three league games for the first time since 1992.
Kevin Bond will have been bitterly disappointed to see his Southend side so comfortably beaten and unable to build on their midweek win over Stevenage in the Carabao Cup.
