Wycombe Wanderers Programme Preview

12 April 2019

Roots Review has an interview with one of last week’s goal scorers, Luke Hyam, as he talks us through the performance against Fleetwood and what it was like to score his first goal for the club.

The Wycombe Wanderers programme features the midfielder who has a few words on what it’s been like since new manager Kevin Bond has come in, as well as his thought’s on the squad’s confidence going into the Wycombe game.

Also included is a touching story with Keith Smith, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer, in which he talks about how Southend United ‘saved his life’. A bucket collection is taking place at the game for Prostate Cancer UK and this story encapsulates what the partnership with the Blues this season was designed to achieve.

Elsewhere, @SUFC_History continue their lengthy search into the unknown history of Southend United, there’s a round-up on the Academy’s recent results, our visitors are profiled and there’s an update on the latest goings-on in the community.

The programmes will be on sale for £3 from the sellers around the ground and at half-time, as well as from the main Ticket Office on Saturday morning from 10am onwards.
