Blackpool Programme Preview

16 November 2018

The Blackpool edition of our matchday magazine 'Roots Review' is designated to our Southend United Community & Educational Trust for our SUCET game...

Inside this weekends issue is an interview with Blues winger Michael Kightly, who recently made is 400th career appearance against Crawley Town; a game in which he netted his 74th career goal.

The 32-year-old talks about his career which has seen him go on and play for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley, and Stoke City.

In this special matchday programme is an in-depth look at what SUCET do in and around the community and they tell us how their #MillionMission is getting on.

As always, there is an eight-page preview of our visitors, Blackpool, including a trip down memory lane as we welcome Efe Sodji back to Roots Hall thanks to the work of SUEPA.

Harry Phillips is the latest U23s player to sit down and take part in our 'Getting To Know' feature, while Tom Hopper tells us about his Blues teammates as he answers the 'Who Is' questions.

@SUFC_History continue to go through the little-known history of Southend United and there's a round-up of the Academy fixtures.

Programmes will be on sale for £3 from the sellers around the ground and at half-time, as well as from the Main Ticket Office from 10am.

Make sure you don't miss out!
