Southend United director Gary Lockett, Mike Paterson of currency firm MSPFX, Robert Plant of Tolhurst Fisher Solicitors and Ciaran Woods are in the midst of the 3 Peak Challenge raising money for various causes.
The challenge includes the added twist of cycling 450 miles in between.
The mad idea came from Gary looking for a fresh challenge following his 600-mile ride in 2016 from Southend, Essex, to Southend, Argyllshire, raising money for Havens Hospices.
The challenge began by climbing Snowdon and cycling 55 miles.
Day two saw the quartet cycle 100 miles to Kendal (Lake District) and Day 3 was where the group climbed Scafell, as well as cycling 20 miles.
Day 4 was spent cycling 90 miles and today (Thursday) was another 90-mile cycle with a finish climbing Ben Nevis.
The trip will be raising money for a variety of good causes including mental health awareness, stroke and cancer research/rehabilitation. You can donate here.
Gary, Mike, Robert and Ciaran thank you all in advance for your generosity and support.
