The time has once again come to vote for your April DeVines Player of the Month.

You can vote for the following candidates:

  • Mark Oxley
  • Dru Yearwood
  • Stephen McLaughlin
  • Theo Robinson

Mark Oxley has been a stand-out player throughout the whole of the 17/18 season, with the No.1 pulling off a number of impressive saves left, right and centre with this month being another excellent month between the sticks. Oxley's month has been his best all season keeping four clean sheets against Gillingham, MK Dons, Oldham and Oxford as well as managing to create two double saves that would prove vital to Blues picking up points.

Dru Yearwood is yet another solid contender this month with his dominant performances in the midfield. The Blues Academy graduate has enjoyed his time in the first team squad since the arrival of Chris Powell and he has once again proved his worth. Yearwood provided two assists this month, his first against MK Dons as he provided Theo Robinson's first of the day and his second assist came against Bradford when the youngster burst into the final third from his own half and laid off a pass to Marc-Antoine Fortune who netted the second goal in the 2-0 win.

Stephen McLaughlin has been a key part of Blues' squad and his last six games have been no exception. This month the midfielder has been involved six goals. In the game against Gillingham, he provided two assists before bagging himself a goal to complete the scoring, two games later he netted once again this time in the 4-0 win over MK Dons as he finished the scoring on the day. The following two games McLaughlin would provide two key assists against tough opposition on the road as Blues completed their excellent month.

Theo Robinson stunned supporters with his outstanding performances this month. Like all the players this month, it all started with the Gillingham game when the striker got off the mark in the league for the first time this season, netting a well-taken volley in front of the travelling fans. His next triumph would come against MK Dons when Robinson netted his first career hat-trick which earnt him a standing ovation as well as the Man of the Match award and the match ball. Robinson completed his month with the opening goal against Oldham, providing the assist for Simon Cox's first and playing his part in Cox's third goal of the game.
