On Tuesday 6th March pupils from Hadleigh Juniors School visited Roots Hall as part of a school project that they will present in front of their fellow classmates.
The school kids started the day with a quick meeting with some of our Southend United Community & Educational Trust coaches, before being given a tour around Roots Hall.
This gave the pupils the opportunity to see how what the stadium is like from all angles, as well as learning some fun facts along the way.
Once the tour was completed the kids were then put into groups as they prepared questions for a Q&A session with SUFC employees.
The Q&A sessions gave the pupils the chance to ask members of staff what they do, how they got to where they are now and where they want to go in the future.
The day was rounded off with a short awards ceremony where all the kids received certificates and football related items.
