Southend United are delighted to announce their fixtures for the 18/19 Sky Bet League One season.
Blues are set to kick-off of their season at home for the third year in a row and have been scheduled to face Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 4th August at Roots Hall.
The first game of the season will be followed closely by a long trip south to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 11th August with Blues fans quickly picking up their away miles early in the season.
Southend United Boss, Chris Powell will come up against his former side Charlton Athletic at home on Saturday 1st September with the away fixture taking place on Saturday 9th February.
A first visit to The Stadium Light in 11 years will take place on Saturday 27th October which will certainly be a fixture to add to your traveling calendar.
Blues will also be on the road on Boxing Day for the first time in two years as they travel to Oxford United shortly before visiting Coventry City on Saturday 29th December.
The New Year starts with a home fixture against local rivals Gillingham and the month of January ends with another home game which is against Luton Town on Saturday 26th.
The Easter period sees Powell take his side to Walsall before a home game against Burton Albion on Easter Monday.
The season will conclude on Saturday 4th May at Roots Hall to Sunderland.
