Want to study with Southend United Community & Educational Trust?

9 January 2018

Southend United Community & Educational Trust are holding an open evening on 8th February at Roots Hall...

If you are interested in football and coaching and want to represent your favourite club at futsal level then this is the course for you.

At the open evening event, you will be able to speak to our educational tutors, futsal coaches and our current students that are working on the course.

One of our current students, Robert Lodge is working towards the completion of his course and the youngster is aiming to use Southend United as a stepping stone for the future.

“While studying I would like to extend my learning of the game; so that I have more awareness when I’m playing football and I’d also like to expand my knowledge of the game so I can develop myself further and hopefully I can work towards a degree at university.”

During the evening you will also find out all aspects of the college program from the classroom side as well as the football and futsal side and that is what attracted Robert to the course.

“Compared to other colleges and courses they have a lot more opportunity to play football, and the chance to represent the club at futsal level. It’s got better facilities than other colleges as well and I think that was a key factor in why I chose to study with Southend United.

If you wish to attend the open evening on the 8th of February, don’t hesitate and book your place by calling 01702 341351.
