Michael Salisbury will take charge of this Saturday’s Sky Bet League One game against Northampton Town…
After the full time whistle has been blown; Salisbury would have taken charge of his second Blues games in his career, with both games coming this season.
His previous Southend game came very early on in the season, when Blues faced promotion chasing Rotherham United on 12th August.
He brandished three yellow cards in the game with just one going to Phil Brown’s side, which saw Simon Cox booked after a challenge on Kieffer Moore.
His last game came on 30th December, when Oldham hosted Bristol Rovers at BoundaryPark; two cards were brandished in the game which has brought his total tally of cards shown up to 184 yellow cards and 14 red cards.
