Chris Powell has confirmed the appointment of Kevin Keen and Damian Matthew as his Assistant Managers at Blues.
The Southend United Gaffer has also confirmed that Roger Cross will take up the role of Head of Recruitment.
Powell will know Kevin well as Keen was a coach at West Ham when the former left-back played at the Boleyn Ground.
After a playing career which spanned over 500 games, Keen started as under 17 academy coach before progressing to work with the first team where he enjoyed three spells as Caretaker Manager.
Keen has also coached vastly in the Premier League at West Brom, Liverpool, Reading and Crystal Palace and had a short spell in charge of Colchester United.
Damian Matthew comes in having worked with Powell at Charlton Athletic where the Blues Manager promoted him to first team coach following coaching stints with the development squad.
Matthew; a former midfielder played for the likes of Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Burnley before having to retire through injury.
Former West Ham United Chief Scout Roger Cross also joins the set up as Head of Recruitment.
The former striker started his playing career at the Hammers before spells at Brentford, Fulham, Seattle Sounders and Millwall.
Cross then had coaching roles at Millwall, QPR and Tottenham Hotspur before taking up a scouting role with West Ham.
Kevin and Damian will be joining Chris Powell in the dugout at The ABAX Stadium on Saturday (3rd February).
