Woolmer has taken charge of 12 Southend games since the start of his career making this Saturday’s game number 13.
His last Southend game that he refereed came last season when Bradford visited Roots Hall on 19th November 2016.
The game ended 3-0 to Blues thanks to a brace from Will Atkinson and an own goal from Romain Vincelot.
He started his refereeing career back in 2003, taking charge of Football Conference games, along with the occasional FA Cup Qualifying Round and FA Trophy game.
Since then he has officiated matches in the Championship as well as taking charge of FA Cup games, the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final and a Premier League 2 game.
This season Woolmer has been taking charge of League One & Two games, as well as three FA Cup games.
His most recent match came last weekend, when Luton hosted Exeter in League Two. The game ended 1-0 to the hosts with no cards being shown in the game.
This season Woolmer has brandished 26 yellow cards and two red cards, taking his grand tally of total cards shown up to 1266 yellow cards and 31 red cards.
