Southend United U23s will face Oxford United at Roots Hall in the qualifying knockout stage of the Premier League Cup on Wednesday 29th August – 7pm KO.
The winners of the game will progress into the Premier League Cup group stages and go into Group E alongside Wolves, Swansea City and Hull City.
Blues can field a maximum of three overage outfield players and a goalkeeper born before 1st January 1994.
A total of 32 category one and two clubs have automatically qualified for the main group stage, while the winners of the qualifying games between category three and four clubs will complete the line-up of teams.
Only the Fairfield BMW East Stand will be open for this game and tickets will be available to purchase on the gate ahead of tonight's fixture.
