Midfielder on the loss to the Hatters…
How disappointing is the result with the effort put in?
It’s a hard one to take. We had a game plan and when you concede after a minute and 30 seconds it completely blows and you’re chasing for the rest of the game.
It’s a really soft penalty but that’s the referee and you come to a place like this and he’s always going to give that one.
It’s a bit naïve on our part but we’ll learn from it. We huffed and puffed but couldn’t blow the house down.
On having a lot of possession but not testing the goalkeeper enough…
I thought we got into some really good areas again and in the first three games we probably would’ve got that final shot away, that final cross and then pick someone out for a chance.
It never really happened tonight but we’ll pick ourselves up and go again on Saturday.
On the manager wanting to see a reaction on Saturday…
He’s already said that. We’ll look at it but then quickly put it to bed and then we’ll move onto Bristol Rovers because that’s another tough place to go to.
It’s another big game for us because we need to pick up some points and get a result.
How do you feel your form as a whole has gone this season?
Personally, I’m delighted. I didn’t miss a session in pre-season, I’ve looked after my body really well and I think I’m seeing the benefits on the pitch.
For me I’m trying to take every game as it comes and take it in my stride and I think I’m doing that.
