The time has come to vote for your March DeVines Player of the Month.
You can vote for the following candidates:
- Mark Oxley
- Michael Turner
- Dru Yearwood
- Simon Cox
Mark Oxley has been one of Blues' most consistent players this season and in March the shot-stopper continued that form, keeping three clean sheets against Doncaster, Rotherham and Rochdale.
Michael Turner was another stand-out player last month with the experienced defender also playing his part in the trio of clean sheets, including coming up against Rotherham striker Michael Smith and helping Blues shutout the play-off hopefuls. His knowledge and stature continue to shine.
Dru Yearwood has shone under the tutelage of Chris Powell and March was another succesful month in the centre of midfield for the 18-year-old who is proving to be a real talent in both a defensive and attacking sense. Yearwood maintained his starts in every game since Powell took over and was recently recognised with a nomination for the League One Apprentice of the Year.
Simon Cox's work ethic hasn't gone unnoticed upfront, neither the former Reading striker's importance in the attacking phases. Cox's hard work was rewarded with an assist and a wonderful goal against Rotherham United, which also earned him the Man of the Match award. His goal against the Millers puts him level at the top of Blues goalscoring charts for this season with both himself and Jason Demetriou currently on eight goals.
