Preview: Wright looking to go on winning run

26 September 2017

Josh Wright says Blues must take belief from the 4-2 win over Fleetwood into the two games at Roots Hall coming up in the space of four days.
Wright shone on his debut at Highbury last weekend on the right hand side of midfield as Blues swept aside the Cod Army.
But he insisted that with two games on our own patch, now is the time to produce a run of wins.
“It’s been a great first week for me but we can’t rest on that,” said the 27-year-old. “We have to kick on and we’ve got two big games coming up.
“That’s the best thing about football. Win, lose or draw there’s always another game.
“Coming into the next two off a win can only help us and hopefully we can kick on from here.
“With the two games coming up at home, it gives us a great opportunity to back up those three points from Saturday.
“It would leave us in a much prettier position in the league table and would breed confidence right through the team.
“A run of winning games is so crucial, I believe, and that’s going to be the aim.”
