Funds Raised For Grenfell Tower Victims Exceeds £9000

26 September 2017

It was announced back in June that Southend United would be lending their support to the Grenfell Tower victims.

The traumatic fire that occurred in the London Tower Block prompted Blues to join forces with the British Red Cross to help raise funds for the families who were left with nothing.

As of June 16th, £10 from every adult Season Card sold and also £1 from every home league match adult ticket sold up until the end of September was donated to the cause.

With two more games, AFC Wimbledon and Blackpool, left in that window, we can now reveal the latest figure has exceeded £9,000!

Tickets for tonight’s game against AFC Wimbledon are still on sale here.

Every penny raised will be going to a great cause.
