Southend United fan Ross Mckinlay and his Dad, Steve will be running The Loch Ness Marathon this Sunday (24th September) to raise money for Brain Tumour Charity UK.
Two years ago, Ross was diagnosed with stage two Chondrosarcoma and since then he’s had to endure three brain surgeries and eight weeks of gruelling radiotherapy.
Unfortunately, Ross now suffers with severe double vision which he is due to have treatment for later this year. The treatment along with the specialist support that Ross has received has been fantastic and the Brain Tumour Charity has helped Ross and his family all the way during the difficult times.
As Ross says, “This is our way of giving something back.”
If there’s any way you could support Ross and his Dad for a great cause you can do so here
Good luck Ross, from everyone at Southend United Football Club!
