Blues thrashed Exeter City to earn back to back wins in the English Division 4.
Gary Moore opened the scoring in just minutes into the game with the forward also scoring his and Blues second of the day in the 28th minute.
Andy Smillie scored the third on the stroke of half time.
Exeter pulled a goal back in the 47th minute.
Sammy McMillan scored the fourth just five minutes later.
David Chambers scored the fifth goal and Andy Smillie scored his second goal of the day in the 87th minute which finished the game 6-1 to Southend.
Halifax 1-5 Southend
Dave Smith’s side made it three wins in three in the English Division 4.
Blues opened the scoring just under ten minutes into the first half with Garry Nelson getting his name on the scoresheet.
The home side equalised moments later with a quick counter attack that caught Smith’s side by surprise.
Derek Spence brought the game back into Blues favour with a goal in the 39th minute.
Alan Moody scored the third in the second half from a corner when the defender popped up and nodded the ball into the net.
Jeff Hull made it four after the winger burst into the box and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Dave Cusack finished the scoring five minutes before the whistle with a close range shot.
Kidderminster 1-2 Southend
A late goal from Leon Constantine gave Blues all three points on the day.
Graham Ward opened the scoring for the home side with a close range shot that flew past Darryl Flahavan.
Mark Gower equalised for Blues in the opening minutes of the second half.
It wasn’t until the dying minutes of the game that Blues found the winning goal which came from Leon Constantine when the forward latched on to a Jimmy Corbett cross and tucked the ball under John Danby’s body.
