Robinson will be taking charge of his second Southend game this season, with tomorrow being his ninth Blues game that he will officiate. His last Southend game was on the 2nd September which saw Blues host Rochdale, with the result ending in a goalless draw.
Robinson brandished six yellow cards and one red card during the game, with three yellows going to Blues players who were Stephen McLaughlin, Elvis Bwomono and Simon Cox.
He has been refereeing for over six years, starting in the Blue Square Premier Division, eventually working his way up the leagues with his highest appointment being in the Championship.
His last match that he officiated came on 18th November when Sunderland drew 2-2 with Millwall in the Championship; he brandished three yellow cards in the game which has brought his total tally of cards shown to 699 yellow and 38 red cards.
