Southend United are delighted to be able to launch the new-look official club website!
17 months in the making and following six years on the old platform, Blues are the third batch of EFL clubs to move onto the newly designed website after joining forces with developers Realise.
The new-look website boasts a much cleaner look and many new features to bring Southend fans a better user experience, whether on PC or mobile.
The new site is easier to navigate, fully responsive for smart phones and tablets and integrates social media and videos much better.
It has been designed to provide Blues fans a more enjoyable visit when getting all the latest news from Roots Hall.
Fans are also reminded to sign up to Blues' e-Newsletter 'My Roots' to receive news direct to your inbox with opportunities to win 'money can't buy prizes'.
The move onto the new southendunited.co.uk coincides with the launch of 'iFollow Blues', provided by Neulion.
iFollow Blues will continue to bring interviews from the club, live audio commentary and match highlights, however, new to the service for the start of the 2017/18 season is live streaming of games for overseas customers.
Subscribers outside the UK and Ireland will be able to watch 46 regular season games for £110 per season.
Subscribers in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch the full game 'as live' as part of the service next season, so a good time as any to sign up.
Blues' media team welcome any feedback on the new website, which will continue to take shape, change and improve. Please email any questions or suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively via Twitter @SUFCRootsHall.
